Aadreus

Michigan and the surrounding great lakes area is filled with nothing short of the most hungry, talented, and ambitious young rock artist to have ever lived the dream of stardom. But now a monster has surfaced on these waters. A beast, created out of the wrath of The God himself, here to destroy every last vertebra in your tiny weak spine. This creature is called Aadreus.
Personally, after being forced to consume puke-worthy amounts of prepackaged, commercialized radio rock, the sound that Aadreus pumps out is great enough to earn them a spot on my list of kick ass rock bands. The originality of this amazingly talented group is an invigorating change of pace. Young and ready to own your face, Detroit based Aadreus isn’t, “Changing the face of rock”, but, they are, all too quickly, giving a lift to the mug this genre.
With seemingly effortless amounts of talent on stage, Aadreus’ live show has audience members flying through the air, and participating in ways that one doesn’t usually see with local crowds. They get everyone on their feet and out of their shells, holding the masses captive as willing participants on an amazing ride. This is not for those humdrum, “I’m bored. What do you want to do?”, jerk offs who only stand in as posers. Aadreus is for TRUE rock music fans who can appreciate a beautiful sound.
You can feel the effort and the love emanating from the speakers as the intense, high energy rifts of Reeyann (Lead guitar), combine with the beautifully powerful songs of Scarlet (Lead vocalist). Tying the entire experience together, Dr. Grogats (Bassist), Marsion (Rhythm guitar) , and WRATH (drums), pound and mash out melodic, crowd pleasing, neck snapping sound. You are truly doomed to fall in love. There is a certain point in their set, a place where you find yourself sweating, panting, aching, but wanting and begging for more. At that point you have no choice but to admit it: Aadreus has your soul.
Together this five piece creates a driving force that pleases even the most critical of rock junkies.
Aadreus makes for a remarkably enjoyable experience, instantly converting you into a member of their ever expanding collective. Their driving rifts, amazing drums, and expertly delivered lyrics, compel you to nod your brains out. So attend their next concert, jump up and down until your legs ache, go to mass on Sunday and mosh the hell out of the nearest nun.
